How do I import videos?

Choose “Open File” or “Photo Library Videos” from the Library. The photo picker supports multiple selections and provides only the items you choose.

How do I play a network video?

Choose “Open URL” and enter a directly accessible HTTP, HTTPS, or RTSP media URL. Configure servers that require credentials in Network Center.

Why does Mtxv request local network access?

Wi-Fi Transfer and local network media sources need to connect to devices on the same network. Files are not relayed through a developer server.

How do I load subtitles?

From the player, import a local subtitle, adjust subtitle appearance, or configure a service and search for online subtitles.

Does Mtxv support landscape and iPad?

Yes. The player rotates into landscape, and the Library, Playlist, and Settings layouts adapt to iPad displays.

What should I do if playback fails?

Confirm that the file or URL is accessible, disable a proxy if applicable, and try another network. Include your device, system version, and reproduction steps when contacting support.
